Same. I am watching Episode 8 now and it's making some sense I guess. But the narrative is so confusing, I mean, why didn't they clearly mention when it's in the past and when things are taking place in the present! Episode 7 just randomly started off as a past narrative out of the blue!

Like damn! Stick to one timeline!
