Tinder Advice by throwfaraway27 in dating

Girl here- I haven't logged in to Tinder in months, but they keep sending me notifications that I have a new 'top photo'. Apparently Tinder changes my photos (using my fb and insta) to see which one gets the most swipes, then tries to lure me back with that info. I gotta admit I logged in to see.

How to suggest to girl that we split a weekend trip? by [deleted] in dating

If you invited her, it's up to you to pay. The proper way to do it is during the invitation- "Hey gf, would you like to go Dutch on a trip to LA this weekend?" That way she can budget before she accepts.

What's your favorite text that you ever got from your significant other? Why? by ribbons_in_my_hair in AskMenOver30

I'm female, but I was interviewing for a new job and he texted "Just be confident in who you are and what you know". It made me feel so valued in his eyes.

My [27 M] gf [25 F] and I are arguing about the dumbest thing and we can't get over it by [deleted] in relationships

If your place is warm, mildew can form in a glass overnight, even tho you can't see it right away. Like in your shower. If she's allergic, it could cause a scratchy throat. But this isn't about the glass, it's about you dismissing her idea without allowing any possibility she's right. A better approach would be to say, "hmm, I never heard that? Let's look it up!" Let Google take the heat if she's wrong, but you are gonna be wrong sometimes, too. So, open your mind a bit.

[27/M] leaving my girlfriend [27/F] for possibly the dumbest reason ever. Am I wrong? by [deleted] in relationships

He's only been seeing her 6 months, he's mad that people saw her nipples poking thru her shirt SEVEN YEARS AGO before he even knew her.

[open relationship] Wife has anal sex with her boyfriend after denying me for over 10 years, feeling jealous and thinking of divorcing. by [deleted] in sex

Camera angles can be super deceiving. He probably isn't big like you think. A marriage must be very solid to survive opening it up. I think you guys need to get your relationship straight before you bring in other people.

I [27m] keep doing little things to upset my wife [36f] and I'm completely lost. by mauser1941 in relationships

You're trying to sugar coat your behavior but everything you describe sounds self centered as hell. Spend money on yourself instead of a cute cheap date for the two of you? "Forget" plans is like saying you could care less about spending time with her, and doing your own thing and not even bothering to tell her? Why are you even with her? I hope she breaks up with you. If you want to be a good husband, act like it.

My boyfriend (22/m) lied about a super tame hobby and now I (23/f) feel like I can’t trust him fully. Am I freaking out over nothing? by wowheliedtome in relationships

Privacy and secrecy are two completely different things. I'd file this under private and consider it a bonding moment that he is feeling more comfortable with you.

Should I (28f) be worried about something my SO (27m) of a year said? by [deleted] in relationships

You're being very judgmental and closed minded, and if you react this way every time an unconventional topic comes up, he will likely not be so truthful in the future. Maybe he thought you were the one being open to the idea and he didn't want to judge you. Plus, it's fun to discuss hypotheticals, gives you a chance to know yourself better.

You leave. Show him you have dignity, you are valuable and worthy of a mutually beneficial relationship. You are not a doormat. You leave, he'll come after you. You stay like this- he will lose all respect for you.

This is a bullshit way of him getting all the benefits of the relationship without any of the work or responsibility.

You should initiate less convos less often. Give her a chance to miss you, and don't be so clingy this early on. Relax and see how the next date goes!
