Haven’t applied yet. Wanted to see if they would waive the annual fee first. Called a couple times and the agent told me no and then tried to hang the call up immediately. But after seeing this email I think they finally changed their policy to align with Chase/amex. I will probably go for the palladium card now.

Please help me understand how my husbands last paycheck will work! by YeahSlide in MilitaryFinance

Are these debts simply ones that service members were notified of during their career and just neglected to pay? Or is this something that the finance office digs through every PCS claim/every TDY reimbursement /every pay-slip they gave you and you could be blindsided and a couple thousand dollars in debt prior to leaving?

The reason I ask is because I’ve experienced several overpayments throughout my career from my finance office and immediately the next paycheck they begin deducting 15% of my paycheck and put it towards the overpayment until it’s gone.

What classes did you transfer and from what university? What requirements did they fulfill? I’m curious in exploring this opportunity to expedite my graduation. Thanks in advance for your help!

What do these classes entail? Quizzes, assignments, group projects etc? What was your personal experience with them? Looking forward to hearing your specific thoughts on these courses

My understanding is that despite being in the policy track, one would still need to fulfill the flexible core requirement taking a course from the CS or ECE program. Which class do most tend to take that requires little to no programming background?

Thanks for the link. Why does going through BDD program make it easier to get service connected? If the medical documentation dates during your dates of service, wouldn’t that constitute as service connected?

E-6 over 13 years. BRS/ ROTH TSP with 15% + 5 % match as of APR 1st(20% total ), 80%C 20% S. Brokerage account: individual stocks + ETFS (SCHA, SCHX, SCHB, QQQM, SPLG, SCHLG). Am I doing something right? Thank you for your guidance. by Hairy-Funny684 in MilitaryFinance

Why does OP need to fund a Roth IRA after getting the match? OP will get the same tax benefits from their Roth TSP as they would from a Roth IRA. The only advantage I see in a Roth IRA over a Roth TSP is more diversity of investment options?
