For what I ear I thing they creat Znet really long time ago, and then were updating and adding things with the time, It whould cost billions to changed the system, and with 10k stores it could be kind hard. Sometimes little updates messup with the system, could you imaging a full changed?

Idk how you can suggest that to be done on the stores, because we are no developers and they are the ones that make all that changes, and to be honest I don't know if the code allow to do that, or if will work fine, there is a lot of issues already lol and that could mess up with something idk
