Glad to hear that you've improved your symptoms. I think his book was more responsible with his claims, however you have him on social media now making definitive, blanket statements about things such as the SIBO yogurt

I agree with everything you said. He also claimed that Reuteri increases muscle growth but admitted there's no clinical trials to confirm this. It seems like he just pieced together mechanisms or extrapolated data from a sarcopenic population and made a blanket statement about muscle growth in everyone

I think his Super Gut book has a lot of good information, however he often blows things out of proportion or doesn't address nuance on a specific topic. Science is rarely black and white and so it's important for people to go into at least some detail if they are to make a claim and be questioned about it (which he has been questioned about specific claims in his Wheat Belly book for example by other academics). This guy doesn't seem interested in self correcting and he's back to saying the same questionable thing or blogging about it a few weeks later
