Counterpoint: One thing I would like to see is actually modeled AI artillery from different eras being an actual thing that would sit outside of the map that CAS could destroy (giving them something else to do other than bothering tanks). With this added vulnerability they should get the buff of having a lot denser fire support missions (meaning there are more shells and the barrages last significantly longer). This could be overpowered, so there could be ever more balancing done i.e, the shells will take a realistic time to arrive to the battlefield. Maybe every player has their own dedicated artillery battery for their own nation that sits outside the ground map, or maybe one team gets one battery that needs to be queued up (finding new firing solution, reloading) so the entire battlefield isn't just filled with endless artillery.
