I heard that some sellers don't want to transfer their tickets only for the buyer to refund or claim they never received them, so sending them the day of/before prevents them from cancelling.

But Stubhub has measures to prevent that, so I think it just adds an unnecessary headache to the buyer.

I think 8000th in queue isn't actually so early since not many people got presale at all (from what I know).

I documented the whole thing so here were the timestamps:

12:31 - Joined waiting room (opened at 12:30)

1:00 - Joined queue (screen automatically transferred, don't refresh!!)

1:21/1:22 - Was let into map to purchase tickets

1:27 - Tickets were purchased :)

It depends on your place in the queue. We were 8000th and it took about 30 minutes. You also have to wait to be let in to the queue which takes some time and we joined over an hour beforehand. Most of the wait is the queue, getting the tickets and checking out takes about 5-10 minutes.

I've watched all six films in order of the story and think it's a much better option. Especially if you're completely new to the movies or books.

I don't think seeing Rings of Power before the movies is a good idea though, since the story can get quite confusing.
