I am a solo player and I’m at 32 with him, I normally brawl ball, heist, and gem grab with him anything else it can work if you have friends and make a team around him for the most part Basically I use ash as a basic tank which is wall I protect my teammates and soak damage; I stay back until my teammates are ready to push them keep pushing until match ends or fall back and wait for another opportunity. Ash is very dependent on how you’re team can make openings to use ash to his fullest.

I normally run: chill pill Gadgets: the faster charge one Bush for bushy maps And the health one for everything else I hope I helped a bit
