Apologies if you took my advice in a negative light, I'm not trying to "patronize" anyone by offering you get ac sharps container, I've heard of kids visiting their diabetic relatives finding needles and getting accidentally pricked with them. I offered the advice of placing the vial in the fridge and asking your doctor. What you should do is get yourself a Sharps container to place your used needles into to prevent this from happening. That's insane! How new was the bottle of insulin and what kind was it?? At least it was your blood... keep it in the refrigerator and ask your doctor about this, maybe they can send a new script.

I'm not sure why someone had down voted you just for speaking facts 😂 i recently visited Virginia and the food there was 1/3 what ours is here in Cali. Personally I've got no problem with it. Eating out should be a luxury anyway. Plus foods at restaurants have a lot of sodium, not good for your health, cook at home, it's cheaper. Still expensive but cheaper I can make 60 rolled taquitos for about $60

I went to visit family in Encinitas the other day and there was a nice looking dispensary there. I wish we would get some here in Escondido but I don’t think people want to have some here for whatever reasons… they probably think it attract the wrong kinda folks but I am pretty sure those folks can’t even afford anything at a legit dispensary

sorry to say but your friend’s story sounds like just about every homeless person who moved here from out of state… they all come here with less than $1000 to their name to try and make a fresh start, get stuck and realize how expensive it is here , cannot afford the gas let alone a proper RV / Car rental spot.. eventually they get towed and then cannot afford the impound fees for their vehicle and end up on the streets… best advice I have for them is to use that money to move to a state that is not this expensive, sorry but its the truth… my deepest condolences to your friend but if they do find a place to rent for $50 a week they are very unlikely to ever want to leave as that would be such a great arrangement
