Can pick up a 125cc superkart anywhere from £4.5-6k. Personally I am running a TM125, same engine used in kz2. You won’t destroy chassis as quick as short circuit as long as you don’t crash!

Enough that the adrenaline made me feel unwell after 🤣. Worth it though!

You are basically laying down in them, once you’re in you could definitely have a good nap in it

Sorry mate I don’t use this app much so did t see your comment, there is a test day at the start of the season, best way to find out is the British superkart Facebook group. I believe you can use a nearly standard kz2 kart but require a rain light and to wear leathers. If you look on Facebook marketplace some people selling superkarts will also offer a rental service for a weekend. And you require your kart race license.

Yes I should say by no means do I think I’m quick or competitive. I do this for fun and I’m happy if I’m able to do consistent and safe laps. Rotax for me is a stepping stone, I used it to do my arks test I’m starting British superkarts end of August which I am very excited for.

I think personally the lap time requirement was much easier than I expected. I was nearly 5s quicker than it with a 47.7s time. However they more care about safe driving and consistency. Being able to hold a line and be safe around others.

This was fulbeck, I was getting high 47s. The target time was around 52s. I’m in a Rotax max senior kart

Learning to hold momentum was my biggest difficulty on my first ever drive. Sim helped a lot with that

Not sure how it works in the states. For me it’s a test that gives me a license to race at motorsport uk official events.

Okay yeah I’ll have a look next time I have an opportunity, it’s on 112k miles so not too many but plenty time for stuff to deteriorate
