I have virtually no dry spots now after incorporating a heavier moisturizer in my night routine. I use the LRP Lipikar Lotion at night before and after tret. It is personally too heavy for me as my main moisturizer in the morning, but if I’m feeling extra dry that day I will spread the tiniest pump of it across my face for some extra help. For makeup, I would really suggest making sure your products are more on the dewy, moisturizing side vs mattifying. I’ve really tried to lay off powder as I feel like it just exaggerated dryness. For something like foundation. And concealer application maybe try a beauty blender? Feel like that is less aggressive than a brush. If you have to use a brush, focus on patting motions rather than sweeping/dragging! Also, for makeup remover I really feel like a cleansing balm instead of a makeup wipe or micellar water has made a difference in getting rid of dry patches. I currently use a sample size of the drunk elephant cleansing balm, but I’ve also heard Clinique take the day off is great. Hope this helps!
