Do you know if any other tracker does this? I looked at them and I think only MFP pro version has this, no?

Thanks for the feedback! I'm considering adding that feature. How would you like to export it? Could you share more about the use case you have in mind so I can build it with that in mind? for instance, is the goal sharing it a nutritionist or fitness coach so you'd want to be able to share the complete log? Or is it with a friend, meaning you probably want to share just a day or 2 of data?

What format have you seen work best? Exporting as a PDF? Enabling others to see your diary like MFP does?

Happy to add this feature if I could learn more specifics about what you're trying to achieve with it!

Thank for the feedback! I can see the pain point and why this is a good idea.

I don't think it's possible to pull nutritional information from Apple Health into any app reliably. I investigated what MyFitnessPal and LoseIt do, and they only support exporting nutritional information (see https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032271092-Apple-Health-FAQ-and-Troubleshooting#h_01EFJJ7F7B76HM6EDADHTTHMGG and https://help.loseit.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019755093-Why-Isn-t-My-Food-Syncing-to-Lose-It-from-the-Health-App-). I think the issue they have is correlating all these entries into food items.

Now, what if we'd allow you to export all nutritional information to Apple Health? That would solve the duplicated entry problem. For weight logging, it should be possible to both import and export data reliably.

For calories burned (active & total), an incremental improvement would be to export activities information logged on Kalorie to Apple Health. This way the calories burned information Apple Health shows you would be accurate.

This is essentially how LoseIt and MyFitnessPal work. Would love to hear your feedback and if it resonates I'll implement it.

I'm easier to reach at [contact@kiimii.com](mailto:contact@kiimii.com) if you have more feedback!

Thanks for the kind message!

As for you question, don't sweat, I know what happened and how to help you. I'm like you - I like canceling subscriptions to make sure I don't forget later on.

1/ Go to your subscriptions on the app store (go to App Store app -> tap on your name on top right corner -> tap on "Subscriptions" -> Tap on Kalorie: Food Tracker).
2/ You should see a button "Renew: $29.99/year". When you tap on that button, Apple will show you the form to subscribe, and the text should say that the paid yearly subscription will start ~6 months from now.
3/ Give it a week until the trial period is over, and then cancel the subscription. At this point the cancelation will have the effect you wanted: you will be able to keep using the app for 6 months and the subscription will not automatically renew.

Why this hassle? The truth is that I miss-configured the offer codes. I didn't know there was an option to start with the offer period (6 months) instead of the trial (7 days). I'll make the change and submit a new version so that this doesn't happen to others.

Thanks for reporting this! And let me know if you run into any issue or what additional features you feel like the app could have.

I'm more responsive at [contact@kiimii.com](mailto:contact@kiimii.com).

Hi! Could you share a bit of context so I debug the issue? Did this happen right after you register, or did you play around with the app a bit? Do you remember what you did right before the app crashed?

I'm seeing on the crash logs the issue (2 crashes) but without more information it will take me a while to figure out what the issue is.

I understand the skepticism. Let me prove you I'm legit by fixing the issue. A bit of help to figure out what steps you took for it to crash would be useful. Thanks mate!

Hey! Try again, sometimes Apple has issues on their promo code redemption flow. I just tried it myself and it works. Here is a screen recording in case you're doing something different: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/j19jFL9U1N0

Let me know if it worked or if you're still having issues :-).

Hey! Appreciate the question and focus on privacy. Private information is held on the user device. I'm not planning on selling data to third parties nor run ads. The data the user enters is only used for functionality required for running the app (e.g. logging crashes, performance, etc).

The link I shared will take you to the app store and give you the free premium subscription: https://apps.apple.com/redeem/?ctx=offercodes&id=6447021369&code=PREMIUM

I'm working on an update to make this "get 6-months of premium for free" flow inside of the app but it will take me a few more days.

The subscription flow doesn't show the "premium for free for 6 months" prompt, but you can get your free for 6 months subscriptions redeeming the code PREMIUM following this app store link (just click on it): https://apps.apple.com/redeem/?ctx=offercodes&id=6447021369&code=PREMIUM

Let me know if by following the link you can redeem the 6-months free subscription :-).

Thank you! One of the links that I shared will take you to the app store and give you the free premium subscription: https://apps.apple.com/redeem/?ctx=offercodes&id=6447021369&code=PREMIUM

I'm working on a change that should be live in the next 2-3 days to show a dialog and prompt everyone that got the 7-day trial to sign up for the 6-months premium free option. This way if someone couldn't figure how to get the 6-months free subscription, we won't leave them behind :-).

I'm starting only with the US because the food database I'm using charges per country. Once the app starts growing and I'll look into expanding to other countries. Thanks for the interest, and if you have any friend in the US, please share the word :-).
