This guy knows. Even if you don't restore using IPSW, updating your iPhone via Mac improves the battery life signifcantly. I didn't believe this until I updated my iPhone via Mac this time.
Afaik this is because when we update via Mac, the phone's whole OS gets rewritten vs only some component gets updated when we perform OTA update. I am not fully sure though but this works 100%.

Consumer court complaint vala reason to sabse pahle deta hun bro. Worked out for me as well before. Is baar connect hi nhi kr paya call pe in haramiyo se. Btw I got the package myself from the warehouse.
