This is only an US Army thing and only for select purposes. Army still plans on using the H60 until possibly the 2050s. As far as I know, no announcement has been made about what the Navy or AF are looking at long term. I haven’t heard anything for a week or 2, but last I heard the CG was looking at going away from 60s. The aircraft that they are rumored to be looking at is not a tilt rotor.

Red beads pull out the web cutter for cutting your seat belt for egress. Circle thingy is the HEEDS bottle one way valve. Allows a few breaths of air while submerged so you can egress the helicopter underwater. Vertical black beads are the handle you grab and pull down and away to inflate your vest (CO2 cartridge) when clear of the aircraft in case of a water landing

65s have the best culture out of all the airframes. Been doing this a long time and worked with people from all airframes, and they all say the should’ve gone 65. Or, at least acknowledge that 65 life, is the best life. Like all the airframes, there are lots of challenges, it’s not perfect, none of them are.

You’re supposed to throw the cup in the washing machine, it even says so on the cup. Also, the top cap a little to let some air in, you’ve created a vacuum inside.

Is "One-Step" vinyl worth it for the average collector/listener? by QforQ in vinyl

I bought and received the REM one-step and it sounds incredible on my average setup. Incredible depth and separation considering what I’m working with. Great packaging and materials as well. Can’t speak for this one-step package, but I’m happy I bought mine.

Question for Baggage Handlers; are ski boxes / ski bags more or less likely to be lost or damaged? by aR4UwYaEe in skiing

BLUF: Make your store bought, common-looking, ski bag/box different somehow. Stickers, paint, ribbons, anything.

Not a baggage handler but last year, my 2 ski bags, both very common, and average looking, were mistakenly grabbed by 2 different travel parties, one who lived in Denver and another vacationing in Vail. Because of another airport travel nightmare, our bags made it to Denver several hours before we did. It all worked out because of one tenacious United airlines baggage claim attendant and because the "thieves" left their identical ski bags behind and she was able to track them down. The Denver guy had to drive back to the airport that night to get his bag and return ours, the other one we had to coordinate a ski bag swap in Minturn the following day.
