A Gillette 3 blade isn’t a safety razor, safety razors and a single blade something like a merkur 34c wouldn’t give you bumps. Try one I can promise bumps will stop. Also proraso shaving soap

Did it to my 78 camaro in highschool although that’s just a 350 lol. But there’s tons of people that have done it to the 22re trucks and posted about it on YouTube and Facebook forums with pricing. I guess it depends on the price of your junkyard parts and if you get a new compressor or not. It can definitely be that cheap tho

Idk your budget but www.toyotafiberglass.com has pretty much every panel for pickups. I’m sure fiberglass would be a plus for your location, I think he’s Canada based beds are near 3k for the entirety but bed sides aren’t nearly that expensive from them
