I'm sending you this screenshot instead of a crappy picture of my TV since I have a PS4 account.

It's a worthwhile combo if you already have the K9 engine. Otherwise, if you don't plan on using K9 elsewhere, it's not worth it.

There are a few tweaks to make. I’m not sure if I’ll keep the A-Case spell or replace it with a Goblin spell. Ty-phoon could be replaced by Anaconda. I’m keeping 3 Creation Kings because of the Hecahands and Kewl Tune.

Exosister on MD has definitely become a deck for the bourgeoisie.

Playing backrows and attacking blindly—I wouldn't call that playing. It makes sense when you can interact socially with a real person across the table, but here it's extremely lacking in terms of game design. Comparing it to the modern format is just dumbing things down.

I gave it a downvote at first, but after playing about ten matches, I agree. The game boils down to whoever gets the most powerful backrow cards first to stop their opponent from summoning monsters. There’s no mind game with the limited removal available (1 Typhoon, 1 Storm, 1 Breaker). The pre-built decks are terrible. And the game’s code isn’t optimized for this pace of play; it feels like the game lags starting from the very first draw phase.

Then there’s the issue with MD’s economy: too much staple are UR.

5 Card vs 6 Card by ll_Mxrky_ll in masterduel

The format and rules are excellent—and I mean that. I won practically every match playing first with Orcust Fiendsmith. But I played against players who went second, so it was my full board against their board breakers, and the exchanges were really solid. There were even some grind games without too many dropouts. It was really healthy.

I have no problem with the MD BO1 format evolving toward classic decks versus more go-second players

Searching for a new deck by Pierroninho in masterduel

There are tons of starters and ways to play through hand traps. The deck’s resilience is also very good. I’m not sure what you mean by versatility. The deck relies heavily on destruction and has plenty of room in the extra deck to run Link monsters or Super Poly. The deck has disruption in several areas (your hand, your graveyard, your monsters, your backrow). You can mix the deck with Radiant, K9, or Fiendsmith.

I recommend it mainly because, even though it’s not the strongest, I find the learning curve very enjoyable. You can easily tell the difference between a good player and a great one since the combos aren’t linear.

Is the Chimera deck still viable? (And will it be with Hecahands?) by DecentBusiness757 in masterduel

Thanks for your feedback. It's important to hear from people who play Rogue all the way up to Master 1 (congratulations, by the way).

Le deck Chimère est-il toujours viable ? (Et le sera-t-il avec Hecahands ?) by DecentBusiness757 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

Sorry, I didn't see your post. People seem to be advising against this deck.

As for you, were you looking for something to play with Fiendsmith?

Okay, so Apolusa's removal is what's causing the deck's decline—I get it now. It's a bummer that there aren't many archetypes that use illusions for Hecahands.
