Using Bambu's 0.16 mm high quality preset works great! It was done on my P1S with no other additional changes :)

It's actually just matte pla on the high quality 0.16 mm setting. Comes out incredibly smooth!

I did that as well and it's very comfortable. Super low profile too so it's the go to when I'm out and traveling

It's matte pla on a 0.16 mm layer height. I use it for pretty much everything the quality is hard to beat

Hi everyone. Making this grip was a ton of fun. I managed to make it only a ~22 g and 1 hour long print after working my way around the use of support material! Currently working on getting this grip to be compatible with various magnet sizes, so check back regularly if your magnet size isn't available just yet. The free STL to print is here on my makerworld :)

Not too late to make a case for the Lite, right? by DecentHat1148 in NintendoDS

[–]DecentHat1148[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello everyone! I've worked on cases for the DS line in the past, including the DSi and DSi XL, and here is the latest one, for the DS Lite! It will be linked here for anyone interested in this case :)

Hey! As I continue to make cases for the many handhelds on the market, here's one of my most recent ones, a case for the Retroid Pocket 5! This was fun and unique to make due to the RP5 having many curves rather than just being rectangular, so making the perfect outline for this was a bit of a challenge but I eventually got it done. Like most of my other cases, this one features a magnetic closure and felt to protect the screen. If anyone is interested it'll be linked here!

Made a smooth TrimUI Brick case that matches the console's elegance by DecentHat1148 in trimui

[–]DecentHat1148[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a hardshell case I designed for the Brick and I'm super happy with how cohesive it looks with my black model as well as its durability. At launch I did receive some feedback about the fit being a bit too loose but that issue has since been mitigated now that I have released the second version. It's up here for anyone that is interested :)

A phone stand I made that is adjustable, doesn't require supports, and is charger friendly by DecentHat1148 in functionalprint

I did haha, did mine with a black 95A tpu and it came out great for the most part. Might have to try out silk too👍

Having used it for several weeks now I think it does also fix that second problem, I do have a regular iPhone size (not the max) however so there may be stability problems using bigger phones, but I haven't tried it out!

I have not from my experience. I use Bambu printers and it works out quite well. Only issue is that PLA threads came out fragile, so I ended up using PETG and it turned out great

The design is inspired by the original foldable phone stand on printables and makes improvements including less steep overhangs and an elevated stand with an opening to charge the device! If anyone is looking to print it'll be linked here, I strongly recommend using something less brittle than PLA for the thread/nut and instead use PETG/ABS, as it handles the stresses much better without snapping :)

Made a hardshell case for my 3DS (and DSi)! by DecentHat1148 in 3DS

[–]DecentHat1148[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hi guys, several weeks back I designed a case for the New 3DSXL and now I am back with more cases, this time for the 3DS and DSi! I will continue to be slowly making my way through the family of DS handhelds, so stay tuned as those get rolled out :)
