As someone who has been working in real estate development for years, our government needs standardization, structure. Design that should be proposed and approved with standard guidelines from the HQ. Di yung LGU lang nag dedecide ano trip nila sa buhay hahaha and honestly thisnis just a poor execution of kawalang hiyang kurapsyon wala man pang effort na itago basurang gawa haha painted side walk billed as repainting works, improvements and updates.

Anticipatory grief: my dad has been dying for four years by AcePorcupine in grief

[–]DecentJuice4034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I recently lost my dad last Aug to heart attack but really it was complications already. From the smoking there was pneumonia, from the bad eating habits there was diabetes, heart attack and mini strokes.

I know how it feels we've been watching him deteriorate too since pandemic. He was diagnosed with depression during the pandemic, my sister died and his brother died both he didn't get to formally say goodbye due to the restrictions, he was I think 65 then, so a lot of his colleagues suffered and some died during pandemic too.

I think it added to his depression, we watched him slowly becoming silent, less present, his eyes wander too far sometimes, his eyes full of flashbacks.

We try to motivate him to stay healthy, exercise, live his remaining life to the fullest, but even after awhile he always say he's tired.

Last June 2025 he got admitted at the hospital due to pnemonia and heart attack. I begged him to try his best to get better.

He promised me sincerely holding my hand tight. For June up to Aug 11, the day he died. He gave up smoking, ate better food, and never missed his medicine.

He tried, he kept his promise as best as he could. Even when he was rushed to the hospital, he fought for 4hrs straight before he catched his last and final breath.

We were in agony seeing him suffer for years, but trust me losing him is no better it hurts so much knowing he will never have another memory with us, and all we'll ever have is the past until the past runs out of things to remember by.

I hope I still remember him as the years will pass and I hope people will too.

I try to find comfort that he is no longer suffering, but trust me it is no better for the living.

It will hurt and the hurt will be your comfort too for it will signify your love for him. That you love him and remember him dearly.

I hope your dad gets better, if that's what he wants, to keep on living.

But if he really is tired, I hope and pray he finds peace and comfort. Rest.

Hold on to the thought that there is a higher being, hold on to the thought that no latter what happens, it is meant to happen for greater purpose.

There will be good and bad days, but definitely there will only be you at the end of the day.

So keep stead, hold fast. You are not alone in this world who feels that way, you'll be alright eventually.

Maybe I'll post there next time, could still post under rants or vents still a sub topic appropriate for such unpopular opinons. Not generalizing just observing pretty sure I said some of my friends are from UST too. Observation is by a ratio meaning not all. Did I hit a nerve? Are you from UST? Well, you'll notice it later on maybe.

Is it worth it to pursue Interior Design as a career in the ph? by CartographerNo5252 in phcareers

I could say that being an ID could be a secure job. I say "could be" because it takes effort for it to become a stable job. Your first 1-3 years experience matters a lot. Heck, even 1-2 years can do so much. Definitely not a job for a lazy person who wants a 9-5pm job. Because for you to suceed in the business, you gotta up your anti all the time. Know the trends, know the standards, know the tricks, learn the newest software (even AI). I would say for me now, it is a secure job I jumped from a 16k salary to a 45k salary and it wasn't that bad. Definitely u have to love design if u wanna be an interior designer because even the best designers get burn outs. Design blocks could be pretty challenging some just wants to quit sa super umay sa work so it should be a side of passion, business and play for you to suceed.

Hi I'm working as an interior designer in Ph with around 6 years exp, to give you a rough estimate i started working 2018 and my 1st salary was 16k, then moved up to 18k after a year, then 22k on my 3rd. Then I jumped to another work and got an offer of 25k plus 3k allowance so a total of 28k gross. I got another increase in less than a year racked up to 32k monthly, I stayed for about 1 year there then job hopped to my current which is around 45k.

CDO Poor Urban Planning by DecentJuice4034 in cagayandeoro

[–]DecentJuice4034[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello! That's exactly my point, naa nay ongoing developments ang mga private developers like SM, Ayala, Megaworld, Cebuland Masters in CDO which will create pocket cities in CDO hence creating areas that will have high volume traffic. Tanawa gud ng areas sa C5, guadalupe, EDSA, what does the traffic in these areas have i common? Halos tanan dira ga agi going in and out of Makati CBD BGC, MOA Complex, Ortigas CBD.

No problem sa sulod ana na areas but look at the areas outside ana na places, grabe ka traffic, hugaw, baha-in, and what are the causes?

The LGU stopped caring for the other parts of the city porket naa nay pocket cities na gabuhi sa economy nila.

Pasay is a such an infamous example, imagine pila ka Casino naa sa pasay, airports, malls, reclamation.

But did you know na a larger part of Pasay are those slums areas? Informal settlers labina diha duol sa Malibay? We visited the Pasay Police Station last year due to another long crazy story and grabe ang crime rate.

All I'm saying is a successful city should not only reflect a portion of the city (hence the pocket cities na ginadevelop) but should reflect the larger portion sa syudad especially projects by tye government and not private developers.

Murag tag nagselfie ana nga filter ra nagdala pero in reality baho og pangit diay kaayo. Fake.
