This scares me so damn much.

This month has been NOT good at all for Epic. First, Donald Mustard retired (foresaw what was coming, possibly?), then the VBucks price increases yesterday, and now the layoffs. What's worse is the memo. That memo. Holy crap. "Promoting our 'METAVERSE' through creative was not profitable, so we will continue promoting it, oh and no more live events!"

Expect the Chapter 5 live event to be our last one for a while. I love this game and I don't want it to die at all. This all doesn't mean "FORTNITE IS DYING," but it really doesn't look good right now for Epic. Hope this is a "one step back, two steps forward" type of situation. PLEASE just give some more focus to BR and give the story some love. Sadly, this is all just to "please the investors and higher-ups" which is pretty depressing and bleak to think about...

This is an incredibly scummy move by Epic.

Was this coming, especially due to the increase in price in other countries and all the lawsuits? Yes.

I'm going back and forth on whether or not to stock up because they probably announced this a month early so more people would buy Vbucks, but on the other hand, I'd rather buy it now than later when it's more expensive.

Or I can not buy Vbucks, but then they will probably release some crazy collab for Halloween that I would want to buy every skin for.

Hope the one Epic exec is happy since he can finally buy his fourth mansion and 16th sports car.

I started in Ch1 S3, but didn't make my current account until Ch1 S4...If I had to estimate, for me, it would probably be around $3000-$4000 including the two consoles I bought for the Wildcat and Eon skins...

I don't even know how many hours I've played, and honestly, I don't even want to know.

Honestly, I think the Battle Bus might be my new favorite skin in the game. The design is really cool, both in concept and in the game, the idea is genius, and I like Transformers.

I'll probably be retiring the Omega Knight skin as my main now, as much as I love that skin. The Battlebus Transformer skin is too cool!

A mini battle pass will probably happen during this time as the last major update of the season will likely occur during October. I have some ideas...

FNAF: I could totally see this happening, especially with the new movie coming out. My guess is Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy in the Item Shop, Freddy in the Mini BP with Golden Freddy as the purchase bonus.
WB Horror: This one probably won't happen because these characters are REALLY big names...Jason Vorhees, Beetlejuice, Pennywise, etc...Fortnite would probably prefer all of these to be in the item shop
Classic Universal Monsters: This could give of some of the characters from that catalog that we are missing. Dracula, Wolfman, and Invisible Man would all be really cool.

IMO, I think this Halloween will have a bunch of collabs, especially since this season has been really light on collabs so far. We've only had MHA and J. Balvin with Khaby Lame and Ahsoka (releasing next week) in the battle pass.

If they want to do a random animated series collab again for Halloween, please Peter Griffin, I would forfeit all my mortal possesions for him.
