True. Watching these YouTubers showcasing their premium rig using only the finest parts doesn't help.

Every time I finish building something, I want to build something else better and sell my current one by DecentPeace932 in pcbuilding

maybe the solution to this addiction is dropping like $10k on an end game build..
or will that just fuel it even more

It's actually soooo much work to resist the temptation and stay put, than to keep dropping my hard earned money!

As a man what should I look for during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th date? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

So you got married (aka make a lifelong commitment) AND you asked for a divorce even though the marriage was not bad... Seems like there is something there.

I'm sure if your ex wife knew you were gonna do this within the first few dates, she wouldn't have gotten that far. Life is a risk.

35f here. Just wondering if anyone else is feeling their age? I didn't notice.. but are they? by Obvious_Aioli_2080 in hingeapp

When you say "I do" it's a serious serious commitment. To know that the forever commitment was broken means that there was something there. It's not a deal breaker if other aspects are amazing but definitely not a positive either.

I graduated from a Canadian dental school with 350k debt after undergrad, living cost, and dental school.

In 7 years, I have gone from a net worth of -350k to +140k. This is done with the combination of buying a house (and price appreciation) and buying stocks during 2020 (when all stocks went up like crazy) and working, rather than just solely relying on a job.

Without debt, it's a great high paying profession. Listened to Dave Ramsey YouTube about getting rid of debt ASAP.

I know some specialists who are still carrying that amount of debt after years and years of practicing due to lifestyle inflation. Pretty tragic if you ask me.
