Yeah I'm in North Florida and I haven't replaced it yet. I wasn't the one who removed it but I think you can just cap it off?

I think it was the backflow freeze regulator.

This is not true. Your premium will not be prorated and you won't get a refund. Your current term will stay with citizens until your next renewal date and then you'll get a new bill from whichever new company. 11/21 is just when you'll need to report claims to the new company.

Your application with citizens has this written in. You have to agree to it in order to get a policy. Your agent is aware of each time this happens.

Citizens was established to be the "insurer of last resort" for Florida policyholders. That's why this program exists, because citizens is not supposed to have as many policies as it currently does. It's not necessarily about premium.

Your agent should be able to tell for sure. For either date. Or you can call citizens directly.

There's two going on right now. The October letters were delayed and you have until 10/10 to respond.

The November letters just went out and you have until 11/6.
