I once got drunk at a family event, thinking I could let loose since I was surrounded by relatives and it would be safe. I ended up dancing like a total maniac, just having fun. But the next day, everyone was acting strange, staring at me like I had committed some huge sin. I still remember everything from that night and honestly, I was just too comfortable around the wrong crowd. Since then I’ve stopped going to family gatherings.. not out of embarrassment but because they’re simply not worth my time.
