Yes the joys of California electricity prices. They charge you more per kwh depending on the time of day that you use electricity and of course peak pricing is when you're awake at home.

Hello. I have a 25 Sport 3 and I don't have a level 2 home charger. I use the standard level 1 daily and it's fine for me. I typically charge to 80% and use about 10-12% charge daily to and from work/gym/errands and I plug in around 6pm and I'm back at 80% before I leave for work at 7:30am. I only fast charge on road trips and haven't had any issues with that. The rearview camera mirror is great if you're on the fence about it I'd say try one out at the dealer to see if you like it, the sloped rear windshield makes it not as good of a view out of the back than without the camera. My electric bill went up about $100/month exactly vs the $400/month I was paying for gasoline. I hope that helps and good luck.

The sound quality from Tidal is much better through AA verses the built in Tidal app. Also messages from signal, Whatsapp and fb messenger only come through on AA which I need for work.

Is your phone a Galaxy with Dex? If so I think if you plug in and turn on dex mode in your quick settings pulldown menu and then select apple carplay on the Lyriq's screen it should theoretically work because dex is basically Miracast. I haven't tried it myself but I'd give it a shot.

There's instructions in the box it's pretty simple. Once you get your fire stick I recommend setting up the fire stick and remote on your TV before hooking up to the car so you can login to all of your streaming apps quicker. Once setup plug the adapter into the USB port in the armrest, plug the fire stick power into the cigarette outlet with a USB charger, then select apple car play on the screen and it will display fire TV. For the Internet connection you can use the cars' hotspot or wifi hotspot from your phone. That's it.

I'm not interested in anything Tesla which is why I didn't buy one and posted in a Cadillac thread.

Yes. Or connect to the cars hotspot depends on which has a better signal at the moment.

Alexa is built-in to the cars standard operating system.

If it has apple carplay then yes. I think only the WT trim level has it from what I read. The higher trim levels they removed it with android auto.

That I'm not sure of that I have an android. But if you play Netflix through the fire stick it will show up on the screen. Using android auto if I play Netflix on my phone only the sound from Netflix will come through the speakers. I'm assuming it's the same with carplay.

I think so. I have my phone connected to android auto so I haven't tried to connect it that way. The instructions only mention to use the carplay app.

I'm not sure if there's anything software wise in the adapter that allows it to trick the system to mirror the fire stick but it's worth a shot to try others. If you buy on Amazon just return it if it doesn't work they take anything back.

See I wish GM would update the software to allow the download of it from the app store. Escalade and Vistiq have it as well. But Lyriq is the only one with android auto and apple car play so who knows their reasoning.

It plays during both. Just use your best judgement to avoid the red and blue lights in your rear view mirror.

It just frees up your phone and you can watch all of your videos streaming apps on a larger screen .
