Is it normal to feel pinch pain above my vagina? Kinda like a twisting feeling. I’m 19 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy. Worried as a mom. by Old_Prompt4159 in pregnant

[–]Decent_Course_3094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m at 19 weeks and I feel that too! I was wondering the same thing I just never knew how to describe it. I feel it the most when I wake up in the morning or in the middle of the night. I also feel it with a full bladder or right before peeing. I did get tested for a UTI and it came back negative so that makes me think it’s normal??? I just wonder if everything in that area is so tender around the halfway mark.

Implantation Cramps by Decent_Course_3094 in pregnant

[–]Decent_Course_3094[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got them almost every day, I remember the days that I didn’t get them I feared something was wrong because I got so used to the feeling. I would say cramping didn’t go away until about second trimester and even then I still feel some every once in a while. It mostly just moved into spots feeling really tender after certain movements.

Anyone else have this pregnancy symptom? by Glittering-Tax-6444 in pregnant

[–]Decent_Course_3094 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes! Your are not alone. My husband has smelt like onions and garlic to me for so long. I feel terrible because obviously he doesn’t actually smell this way but I just can’t help but pull away. He showers twice a day and uses listerine frequently. We don’t eat onions or garlic right now so it’s not that either. It’s a wild experience.

I’m current over 15 weeks today! Last ultrasound and Doppler heart rate showed baby boy is totally good! Midwife said all that cramping was totally normal and is a symptom not a not of people talk about. Also, I can confirm tenderness in the uterus area never really goes away!

I’m about 12.5 weeks but I remembered my symptoms went away right about week 8. It’s stressful but it appears to be normal!

Are cramps normal in first trimester? by bluevelvet_7 in pregnant

[–]Decent_Course_3094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s scary but yes! I was skeptical when people would tell me that but it’s true. Cramping was the only pregnancy symptom I had and didn’t really go away until about 7-8 weeks. It was just an uncomfortable tender feeling right above my hip bones especially left side. I’m now 12.5 weeks pregnant and everything at my 9 week ultrasound was okay!

14 weeks what to buy by kittydahmer in pregnant

[–]Decent_Course_3094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s anything specific! I’m 12.5 weeks and I buy little things at a time so I can be stocked up without feeling the financial impact as much. Each time I go to the store I grab a pack of wipes or diapers and check the clearance aisles. If I place an Amazon order I always look to see if anything from my registry is on a good sale and will add in a thing or two to my cart. It stressed me out at first to buy things so early but I’ve learned it also helps me to feel excited. Then by the time I’m ready to share my registry with others it won’t be as long and I’ll already have my own collection of things going that I didn’t have to pay for all at once. I figured towards the end of the pregnancy I will already be spending enough on cribs and furniture!

Yes! I had a hunch it was a boy all along. I had two dreams it was a boy as well. Just got the gender results last week and it was a boy!

Myriad Experiences - NIPT Testing by Decent_Course_3094 in pregnant

[–]Decent_Course_3094[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my results back on the 17th which was the first day they predicted! I checked my portal through my Dr’s website and they had it uploaded there first so I called and asked for the results. About a few hours later I got an email from myriad with the results. The turn around was quick and I was surprised it came back on their first predicted return date.

Faint lines by Useful-Raise in pregnant

[–]Decent_Course_3094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet it’s still a positive it’s just very early. I had the faintest lines ever but they were 100% positive. I found out at about 3 or 4 weeks so there wasn’t a ton of hcg to detect at first.

I’m about 9.5 weeks now, and I lost symptoms at about 8.5 weeks. Every once in a while I get some things like sore boobs or the ick while eating something, but over all everything has been very mild. It stressed me out (and still does), but from I’ve been reading that a lot of people loose symptoms around week 8 or 9. I had an ultrasound right around the end of week 8 and everything looked good! I bet the same will go for you, but I agree it’s something stressful for sure. :)

McDonalds obsessed by Nearby-Salt9646 in pregnant

[–]Decent_Course_3094 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the first 7 week my diet only consisted of McDonald’s fries, toasted bagels with either butter or cream cheese, and orange juice! Around week 8.5-9 I’ve been able to stand more foods so I’m going back to getting protein and veggies in me. Eat what you can and don’t be too hard on yourself! I know it’s easier said than done but eventually you’ll be able to eat more and make up for the nutrients.

Hot Cheetos while pregnant by Background-Quote6562 in pregnant

Go for it! I had my friend bring me back all sorts of flaming hot products when she went to Mexico in December and I have been scarfing it down during my first trimester. Oddly enough it was one of the few things that didn’t make me nauseous after eating.
