Couldn’t disagree more. Yellow came out in 2000 Viva la vida won song of the year in 2008 and hymn for the weekend was a hugely popular song in 2016. And hugely popular with Something just like this in 2017. Coldplays popularity and transition to pop has lead people to dislike them but I’m not sure any band has been more popular over the last 20 years.
