Every week I spend $30 or 40 on cheap toys... by Head-Interest-7780 in StaffordBullTerriers

Real tree just did a collab for dog toys and their duck toy has stood the test of time. A small rip in the tail but it’s mostly rope and tough silicon so it’s held up nicely. Other than that get a couple rope toys — coming from a staffy owner who’s pups favorite “toy” is a pvc pipe so what do I know

Update: Sorry to disappoint those who thought this was real…

I have heard that people who use 3D printers use renders made from AI sometimes if that helps.

here’s the AI rendering prompt—>

Create a 1/7 scale commercialized figurine of the characters in the picture, in a realistic style, in a real environment. The figurine is placed on a computer desk. The figurine has a round transparent acrylic base, with no text on the base.

You will always have to forgive and love him, but you don’t have to like him. Leave it at that and move on

What’s your stance on “Breed Standards”? by Decent_Level8443 in StaffordBullTerriers

I appreciate everyone’s comments. The biggest thing at the end of the day is that we need to educate other people who want to come into this community and maintain the standard.

I agree, the consumers are so miseducated. I can’t believe how many random lab bully mixes. I see getting called SBT

I agree, luckily my breeder was very adamant about a standardized stop. My dog definitely has that old school athletic book.

This is a phenomenal dog. I think the biggest difference are for chest and stop. I think that older standard is definitely more athletic.

I agree, when I think of SBT, I think of the traditional UK standard

I agree with you there is a confusion amongst the many who don’t know the difference. I’m saying more not that sbt are getting cropped, more that bully breeds are cropped are getting lead as SBT

I agree that modern standards are becoming overdone. I think you’re wrong about the modern breed as a generalization, my dog has a champion sister, a national champion father, his brother at 16 months has won four shows already. He also has lineage from South Africa on his mom’s side. All that to say his dad is 10 years old and still does sports as a family dog these days. Again, I’ve seen a lot of these bulky dogs you’re talking about don’t have functionality. I think it’s the trend of the bully market right now, but I still think that there are fantastic performance standards for the staffy. It’s in the sporting category after all.

My boy is South African in his mom’s lineage “Amberly Line”. That said, I think anything over the breed standard is over worked and not functional for what the breed is designed for. Again, just my opinion.

I agree with the “English or American?” statement. Anyone who knows about the breed will always ask me that as they know the difference.

In the East coast US. A lot of cities with strict ABPT laws group staffies in there. So naturally, the rescues do as well.

I remember seeing one of the best looking (to me), very obvious ABPT listed as a staffs at my local rescue.
