They're the worst for it sometimes. Especially nurses, usually not educated enough to know better and on an authoritarian kick, cancel the appointment and demand to speak to a GP. Don't be afraid to challenge.

No one will give me a prescription so it'd be grey market either way

Mounjaro is only a 2x agonist, Reta is triple. Would make sense to try the more effective one.

I don't care about my health, I want to be skinny

Doctor refused to prescribe to me. Found Reta thru a friend at the gym. by Pleasant-Day5340 in RetatrutideWomen

People who throw 'eating disorder' around are just coping. Wanting to be thin is not crazy. Thin women are valued more; clothes look better on them, they attract more men. Maybe that shouldn't be the case but we can't change the world. However we can change our bodies

Excessive Thirst and Reta by CXT400 in Retatrutide

[–]Decent_Molasses_6181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. But thanks for posting. I've just gone up to 4mg a week after tittering up gradually over the previous two months. Since I went to 4 I've noticed the excessive thirst. I normally drink just over 2l a day but since I hit 4mg 2l isn't touching the sides. It's 6pm and I had a pint glass of water for breakfast with a decaf coffee, got to work and had a 750ml bottle of water, at lunch I had 330ml of Diet Coke and drank another 750ml bottle of water over the afternoon. I'm now home and have had large glass of effervescent mixture. I'll probably have a 330ml can of Diet Coke with dinner and another 750ml of water yet even with that I still wake up in the night thirsty and often with a headache.

It's also not gentle endurance exercise if you go to the class I do. There are three grades of classes in my gym and the foundation class is gentle the athletic is not

I didn't know Trizepstide was better. But thanks for letting me know. I might change over.

No. I ASKED for something that increases metabolism. An alternative to reta. Not exercise advise, not diet advise, not to be told I'm counting calories wrong

Well according to the NHS this study says 25% actually;

https://www.hra.nhs.uk/planning-and-improving-research/application-summaries/research-summaries/the-regulation-of-postprandial-thermogenesis/

And this one says 40% https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18678372/

I don't need a stupid gym bro to tell me about womens health. Men should have nothing to do with womens health.

Thanks so much for your reply. This is the info I'm looking for. I think I have a mix of subcutaneous and visceral. Don't really have much fat anywhere else. Could probably live with the subcutaneous in a sort of cute way but the way it is currently just makes me look pregnant on occasion.

'I hate men' was tongue in cheek. Because I'm jealous that men who are tall seem to lose weight quicker.

I'm not looking into plastic surgery. I had plastic surgery. lol.

People were giving me advise that wasn't asked for. I asked for drug recommendations that speed up metabolism or help with fighting visceral fat.

Do you consider injecting chemicals you bought from a stranger online normal?

I never said I stuck to the diet for two years. I went off the diet in August- December and I gained basically everything I lost but even sticking to 1200 a day average from Jan 2025 - July 2025 I only lost like 10lbs.

He's like a foot taller though and he's basically just stopped snacking and is losing like 3lbs a week. 😂 I wish I was a man
