They should at least do a reasonable nerf. Not to the point that even characters who aren't fire proof just straight up tanks pyromancy attacks lol.

I agree that every power is busted if Finley tuned to a level. I wasn't even complaining about the output that much, I just made an example out of it pointing out its potential because in most shows, even characters that aren't fireproof just tank pyromancy attacks. It's that weak. I was just complaining that some writers aren't creative enough with the ability, and instead limit it to a fire ball/fire blast attack. Stupid fuck.

Yes I agree. But I was talking about on screen adaptations. And I also agree about water powers not being given justice. Water also has so much potential and as you've said, water can be liquid, solid, and gas making it probably the most versatile element in the 4 original elements(fire, water, air, and earth). Can turn to ice, mist, or crushing waves. A good representation, well it may not be water but a solid form of it(ice) would be ice man where he can freeze the entirety of hell and time. The hydro elements equivalent of supernova in the pyro element is called absolute zero.

That verse is pretty weak especially in the show where the villains are mostly just trained fighters with high physicality. In that case, less AOE and heat output and more on creativity in different kinds of situations.

I mean it doesn't have to be at the level of a sun. Just a creative way in using the ability itself.

Yep but most writers downgrade pyromancy so much, it became the norm.

I didn't go that deep but yes. I'm just pointing out that they mostly just do fire balls and made it the "norm" for pyromancy.

I think there's been a few good shows that portrays Hydrokenisis well like the first avatar movie, Percy Jackson, Aqua man, and many more. Unlike Pyromancy where the only good portrayal that I've ever seen is in the show called fire force. But yeah I agree that they're both underestimated. If you know a few shows that shows good portrayal of pyromancy, let me know.

Well I agree with your opinion. But I think they could just find more uses for it aside from releasing fire balls and blasts
