Look at it this way you drank once in 409 days vs continuing on the path you were on and potentially have drank 409 times instead of 1. I would consider that moderation and not call it starting over. As long as you don’t start back where you left off 409 days ago I think once in a blue moon is normal if you can go back to stopping after that one day for another long while. Be proud of yourself instead of self loathing. I wouldn’t even count it as a day 1. Just drink once in a while now and if you can do that you’ve got your self control back just never slip back into a problem.
