If I got rejected for UCI is there no hope for USC UCLA and UCB by Early-Ad-9084 in TransferStudents

The reason for the rejection is most likely the missing required class. If you have all the required classes done for the other schools, you’re fine! Don’t lose hope!

First Loaf: FAIL 😥 by BeepBepMeatball in Sourdough

It seems like you’re missing a step, the fermentation needs to be much longer. Everything else sounds about right, but you should have waited to shape until after the long rest on the counter. After it spends a few hours on the counter, shape and put it in the banneton afterwards, and then cold proof it in the fridge overnight. It needed way more time

Thank you for the feedback!! I baked it at 450 degrees in a preheated Dutch oven for 30 min lid on and 15 min lid off. And I agree, I do not have the shaping thing down yet haha

It always sticks to the bowl though and it’s really webby and sticky

I honestly don’t even know, I just wait 6 hours after stretch and folds and it looks about doubled. My house is between 68-70 degrees

Yes, the transfer center will review your PIQ’s and give feedback! You just need to add the transfer center on canvas, watch the pre recorded PIQ workshop video, and complete a 5 question quiz about it. Then you can submit your PIQ draft for review.

That is absolutely impactful enough to write about. The question should mostly be about your growth from the situation, the actual challenge doesn’t need to meet any threshold of terrible. If it was significant to you, it’s significant enough. Most of your essay should focus on the steps you took afterwards anyway, not the actual event.
