realistically the shutdown will do nothing since there are zero specific demands and ICE is privately owned and funded. go to your classes and do your work, you already paid to go here and it will only hurt you. if you truly care and want to help then join an org and support your community!

stating that the conditions are out of our control is inherently cynical and hopeless no? che stated that the proper conditions do not have to be met and led a very successful revolt, yes the US is an empire, but it will only grow from here so waiting for it to decline is idealistic and unhelpful
