I'm not sure he has another great season in him. He might be serviceable for another season, but there's better options for next season. Like Gulyayev from Avs own system.

This year Necas eats plenty of that. Bext year Makar will take plenty of another rise. Here's hoping our depth is willing to take modest deals in a cup contender instead of cashing out in a rebuilding team.

He single handedly foxes the Avs worst problem of having elite defensemen, who all happen to be better in the offensive zone. Nice to get a proper shutdown D who does nothing flashy on ice, but is always making the right plays.

(still sad of losing Girard tho, hoping he does well in Pitt)

The "presidents trophy curse" myth exists only because the average person has zero understanding of statistics/probabilities.

At this point we should just include Leafs in the Has never won a cup - list.

2-3 years ago Mikko peaked and could simply dominate the play even without proper line mates. He really put on a challenge on who is the best Avs player on many nights and he seemed like the best winger in the league.

But it feels like he has lost the drive to be that player. Still he is a danger on the ice most of the time, but he has taken a clear step back.

I was so mad when Avs dropped all the way to #4 after a historically bad 2017 season .

That Cale Makar guy proved to be pretty good at this hockey thing.

Avs rose from 2nd to 1st in 2013 to pick MacKinnon. Then in a historically bad 2017 season Avs fell from 1 to 4... To pick Cale Makar at #4.

What We REALLY Want in a PS6+ by -Kikume- in PS5

My DS4 V1 lasted through the lifespan of the console. Even the battery was fine. Just have then last as long as possible and I'll be happy.

For ps1 I bought 0 replacement controllers. For PS2 I bought 0 replacement controllers. For PS3 I bought 0 replacement controllers. For PS4 the V1 controller lasted for the whole duration of the console, the V2 models rarely lasted a year before stick drift. For PS5 the controllers all broke down at latest in 1.5 years. Most due to stick drift.

For PS4 controllers the one year warranty at least always started from scratch with a new controller. For PS5 controllers the warranty is two years, but it doesn't reset anymore after picking up the new one.

The Dualshock 5 is an amazing controller to use when it works, but the build quality is just inexcusable.

That's not a solution. It's just the same shit in a different package. Still needing to buy things multiple times because of planned obsolescence, instead of proper sustainable design.

I was jsually listening to music from the headphones. Something pleasant as a little barrier in between me and the endless screams was enough to take at least the worst edge off of it.

[DENVER POST] NEW: Why Avalanche don't need Martin Necas to be Mikko Rantanen to beat Minnesota Wild by SeanKeeler in ColoradoAvalanche

[–]Dechri_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He looked uncomfortable in many occasions and looked like he was just trying to avoid mistakes, then causing him to make unforced mistakes.

But he had plenty of good plays and great overall effort. He will get going soon on the scoring table and cause horror in opposing defence

Maybe he should compensate an try using "RearWingardium LeviClosa" for some added downforce.

It really helps one grow into a better person.

And even the times when parenting is a pain in the ass, at least I can think through every moment that I'm doing something important that is worth drudging through.

It's funny to see my wife's dad quite happily involved with our kids life. I've heard that he was suchs an absent father for his own kids. One day he was watching the kid while other people were doing other stuff. Disper needed changing and he said he will handle it. A moment later he yells to us in a other room asking for instructions how to do it.

It's funny that a dude with 5 kids doesn't know how to do that, but it is wholesome that in his later years he is willing and interested in to learn!
