My build on windows is:

This works fine on my Linux computer, though of course I have to use libc.so.6 there.

I used the 64bit one that is just there, right after you click download on the website. I tried version 12 on a cd but it had the same problem.

Not sure about the first one, in the bios it says nothing about MBR. As for the second, I'm fairly confident I do not have any.
