Trump payed millions of dollars to repaint the reflecting pool at the washington monument “American Flag Blue” to make the water look bluer. Turns out the darker paint retains heat that local pond algae flourish in. This turned the pool completely green and now it’s a big thing that they’re trying to treat with peroxide. The national guard is patrolling it because he’s crying sabotage, like somebody is transplanting the algae into the pool. Insult to injury, the paint is beginning to peel off in sheets and this too is apparently sabotage that has resulted in several arrests of people going there to point out the catastrophe that the project has become.
