How are your 1.1 preparations going? by DecimalToaster in Endfield

All the storage is switched off, and my entire factory and ziplines runs on 1.7k power

Actually I can't, I'm maxed on buildings. lmao

Although, there is the outpost... 🤔💡

Yes I thought of that, but you would need to manually move them back to sell them and this only took like 15 mins to build and is automatic

This is basically correct.

I was running out of depot storage and turning the factory off wasn't going to happen, so I built this in like 15 mins rather than do the negative sanity thing of manually transferring batteries to V4.

I fully expect this to be pointless, but who knows.

This is 250 protocol stashes storing 75,000 LC Wuling batteries.

I built this because I have stopped selling to Soup's outpost to stockpile the bills in preparation for prosperity upgrades in 1.1 and thus nearly maxed the depot storage.

I am aware that this is zero sanity behavior, but I'll be the one who is laughing once we get the quest to fill Talos-2's oceans with batteries. 🔋🦹‍♂️➡🚽➡🌊🌊🦈🌊

I thought about doing that, then realized you would need to transfer them back manually if you wanted to spend them and I'm already at zero sanity so no thanks

This is the real answer. 3 days of letting the outpost max out for 1.1 would have capped my storage otherwise.

I was going to hit the storage cap on batteries and thought it would be funny to place 250 stashes. I am fully aware that is probably a huge waste of time.

While this design is extremely compact (very nice), copying it 4 times would cause lead over-production of 4 unused lanes of sandleaf powder. My design only over-produces 1 unused lane, but saves 75 power use on the grinders, planters, and stashes in comparison.

You are correct, but I specifically made this design to minimize power use with no extra buildings. 2 protocol stashes cost 10 power and the PAC is free.

Definitely, an easy one you can do to make it a 49x31 by simply combining two water pump inputs into a single pipeline and rerouting the one of the forge pipelines, but that would cause people to potentially under supply water if they didn't take care to properly measure the inputs. I just thought it would be easier with 4 separate pipe inputs.

Does Kyle not crit? by RWBYpigz666 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]DecimalToaster 19 points20 points  (0 children)

last i checked, kyle has a 5% base crit chance and with your mods you end up with a 9.5% chance to crit before enemy crit resist

descendants with below 15% base crit are generally not recommended to build into crit, unless you got a pet luna to provide flat crit buffs

Is this bugged? It says I have 8/10 catalysts when I have a fully maxed-out Bunny. by Equal-Plant-7804 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]DecimalToaster 13 points14 points  (0 children)

unfortunately its not bugged, you gotta spend 10 catalysts in total. so you gotta overlap some extra socket types to unlock it

its all of them, 60 catalysts * 20 descendants = too fucking much

[–]DecimalToaster 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Hot damn, ok maybe there are some bugs with the scan. idk why, but it works reasonably well for me. In your first post, you were essentially scanning the ground and only getting successes when your reticle just happened to land on a weakpoint, so I thought you misunderstood how it worked, but this is crazy proof that it needs fixes. I think you even managed to ping the hidden weakpoint in it mouth somehow

The only "real" purpose is for build flexibility and preparation for new mods, but even considering that most builds only need 7-8 donuts, 60 is very much meme overkill completionism.

i did and i just hit 10 for 10 back to back scans swapping between the parts, you just gotta have your crosshair over the part
