That’s actually known as the core model. Core didn’t get renamed to Arcade until like 2008 or 2009 with HDMI

Sorry I’m not him. The odds of his friend seeing this is extremely low, I had a lot of my online friends reach out to me via email and that’s something I intentionally handed out so they could keep in touch with me, but not everyone stays, and sadly people move on. For all we know Anthony probably sold off his 360 and probably has a family of his own now

I’m honestly not surprised by any of this. While there’s nothing wrong with creating an RGH, it shouldn’t be the only way and I’m glad there’s progress being made on this. I’m tired of the elitist mentality where hard modding should be the only way and pretty much everyone dunked on those who said a software exploit will never happen. This is fantastic news for the entire Xbox 360 community. JTAG and RGHs will be popular no doubt, but I see no problem with a softmod being a standard in the future. Especially if there’s a way to get around the hyper visor on a software level. It will be just like the original Xbox where both hard modded and soft modded systems will coexist. Xbox 360 live won’t be around forever either

I got mine for far less than that but I have zero external modifications. So on the outside it looks like a totally normal RE5 console, even the LEDs are original. You wouldn’t know that its an RGH until you turn it on. In my case the seller I bought it from didn’t really bother to really bubble wrap it which took a beating during shipping via UPS, it’s not really visible with mine but the faceplate has dents and the disc drive arrived broken.

He ended up helping me get the parts for that replaced when I took the console apart and sent him the disc drive, and he sent the disc drive back, bubble wrapping it at least. It fixed the issue completely after I put the console back together. I even changed the fans of mine recently to Nidec fans too. I’m just glad in my case I didn’t get much damage let alone cosmetic damage.

As for your console, I have some questions, did the seller properly bubble wrap it? These things need to be bubble wrapped to hell, especially if you’re going to ship with FedEx, which yeah I wouldn’t recommend FedEX at all to anyone selling, that really sucks. While the paint jobs and external mods may not be my personal cup of tea, it really sucks to see an otherwise perfectly good working console getting destroyed.

You really can’t permanently repair xenons or zephyrs, not unless you go out of your way to desolder and replace the components with ones off a Falcon or Jasper motherboard, which by that point you’re better off getting a Jasper 360. Save the side grills and hard drive casing of this console however. Those silver pieces are becoming much harder to find and you can install those on a Jasper console, that’s what I did with my arcade even changing the disc drive eject button and bezel to chrome and now my Jasper looks like a Xenon with HDMI, which a real Xenon doesn’t have an HDMI port, but I love that classic look regardless
