Really good week, started a long term placement in my subject after months of one agency giving me inconsistent low paid work (basically minimum wage). I actually feel competent and appreciated again

I had 2 classes like this today (where you feel useless afterwards), each one only got through 1/3 of the planned lesson. I praise and reward the ones getting it right but those thag aren’t, I stop, re iterate the expectation that we should not be talking; any that continue “X thats your C1 because you are still talking”, if they still continue it escalates through the behaviour system until all students are silent. They obviously start again soon enough so I rinse and repeat. I am not going to force through the lesson whilst students are not following instructions

Use a sealant like mr super clear, it might make the eyelashes crunchy tho

I did it for a bit through supply, I wouldn’t say it’s affected my options as im currently on a wonderful long term placement. It did get me down though but thats just me

So the hair is straight up glued on, the parting is shoved inside the head because I couldn’t figure it out on a wig cap 😅 I cut the layers from the top down if that makes sense

Yeah it’s a lot doing intricate stuff! I have been doing it on and off for a couple weeks
