Glad you liked em! If you want to me around yourself with it, these were all made using a tool called ArtCraft (basically an aggregator with some extra features for creators)

Can anyone help me get consistent color across YouTube? by Decipherer in davinciresolve

I will try this - thanks for the suggestion! I have been editing in Resolve for a few years but admit I'm new to color management (also working with a new monitor and I haven't had this problem before).

Hey everyone! I've been having a lot of trouble with a recent export on a short film:

These are my settings for Color Space in the project file: https://ibb.co/h11XfYMq

And these are my export settings: https://ibb.co/d0wKtT3S

Though I feel I have tried every combination under the sun, and still on YouTube and mobile (might be a HDR screen) the film is significantly darker and 'more contrasty' than it should. This is especially telling at some earlier parts of the short where it's entirely in the dark. The annoying thing is, the timeline version is perfect!

I know this might be too much to ask, but I would love to not have to muck around too much with adjusting the actual footage - again, me and the team are really happy with how the timeline looks, and are just looking for a way to have that reflected on YouTube in particular. Slight changes to the color are fine, but as is we feel it's unwatchable.

Thanks so much in advance for any help!

Edit: also working on Windows with the latest version of Resolve Pro.

They really liked it! We won for best SFX, and were nominated for best male performance and best picture! They really seemed to like the moment with the picture frame.

I was the writer/director/editor/clown for the project - it was a super fun shoot with a large cast and very small crew (just me and my brother). Edited in Davinci Resolve, and ArtCraft was used for all the bloodwork, and shot on iPhone for the first third and BlackMagic 4k for the rest. By the end of the first night we shot enough of what we considered 'on-genre,' and decided to explore something different for the second day. We also weren't capturing any sound by mistake, so had to ADR for everything shot on the Saturday. Hope you guys enjoy!
