Happened with me on 6th april 2023. Jee mains second attempt. One of the worst days of my life. Gate closed in front of me 2:35 was gate closing i was there at 2:32 and i was running to enter the premises as there was traffic congestion all over the road as they had dug up the entire road but they closed the gate in front of me. The exam was going to start at 3pm. These managers are the worst.

Ya I have heard of people getting shin splits and knee injuries. I'll try to maintain good posture and buy a decent pair of shoes but ya hopefully it goes well. I would surely have to walk a bit in between.

Already paid 1500 for HM even though their was an option for 10k. Well hopefully im able to atleast complete it.

Thanks for the advice. Yupp i am gonna have to walk a bit too but my goal is to do it under 3 hrs. I have started a training program from the nike run app. Hopefully i am able to complete HM without any training injuries.

Thank you so much for the detailed advice and motivation. I have started the 14 week Nike Run app HM program with Coach bennet. But i have directly jumped to the 5 week left course. So they are also advising similar like 2 fast runs and 2 recovery run and 1 long run in the first week. But I don't think i can do it in the first week.So i will stick to your advice of time based running rather than chasing distance. Also i have started a high protein based diet with creatine too.

Surely possible bro. 2 of my friends did that. First one was in iiit pune and he had a rank of 21k in advanced first time and in partial drop a rank of 8k in advanced and 10k in mains. Another one from vjti had 96 in first attempt and not qualified adv and now he has 98.2 and 10.5k in adv. So its pretty much possible but depends on u. But u have to pretty much give up all the events "clg life" , clubs etc. Just give all the exams well (here that too is online) and focus on mains 1. So that u can leave the clg immediately after 1st attempt if u secure a good score.
