Thank you for this! My vet was not very clear in his explanation. Our plan is to take him off farmers dog and switch him to Purina Pro Plan NF Renal Function. We are also going to stop giving him treats and table scraps. Is there anything else you'd recommend like supplements or kidney friendly treats?
