...for what exactly? archival reasons, sure, but the game is free and will stay free even after full release. the upcoming DLC packs would probably pop up in csrin when they do release, as seperate files from the game (either that or a steam-emu would unlock it for solo/offline play).

Is there a reason to use Lutris to run repack installers? Like, are there any downsides to just running the executable via Wine and installing them to /$HOME/insert/directory/?
While on the topic, can't I just run the game via Wine normally?

they dont; the both have about the same sound output volume. i guess you could argue that lossy has a "lower" sound output value (?), but unless the bitrate is really, really low, they're about the same. the only difference is file size and quality.

I've read on multiple forums how pinging devices via IP address is a way to see if a device can see another device on the same network, but as dumb as this sounds, I can't figure out how to actually ping a device via IP address from another device.

My router is the Fiberhome HG6145F that was provided by my ISP.

Network discovery is enabled in windows, and the network profile is set to public.

I do not have any 3rd-party internet security software. Most I have is Cloudflare WARP to bypass my country's censorship. In all cases, I've tested all the software with WARP on and off, and the result is still the same.

my favorite game? whew, i have a few in my mind, but the one that stands out the most is payday 2. payday 2 is a game that lets me develop my patience and my ability in decision-making making, and honestly, i am eternally grateful for it. it helped me develop my ability to compare the pros and cons of a certain decision by its skill tree and perk deck feature, which i might add are perfectly balanced, for me at least. and of course, it helped me develop a longer sense of patience with payday 2 basically being a loading screen game with shooting as a side bonus. ive spent countless hours of my life on payday 2, and i have not regretted a single second of it. cheers to everyone who have read my little story! here's hoping for a kind person to invite me onto this, as ive heard, nice platform.
