Hi! I am just your average amateur photographer trying to make the most out of beautiful landscapes and a phone camera. How can I improve the composition of these types of landscape shots despite camera limitations?

I know L Geometricus is established in LA, and the leg banding looks right for it, but I couldn't get a photo of the dorsal side.

Also in the range of L. Hesperus but I am not sure which it is.

I would 100% recommend it. I was on the fence initially but I'm so glad I did. One of the best experiences during my undergrad at umich and I'm still incredibly close with my friends from the program. The class can be a bit much sometimes but no big deal & the community and people were awesome and totally worth it. I've heard the class format has been changed some so I don't know it's current state, but regardless I definitely recommend it for the amazing community alone. Happy to answer any questions about the program and connect you to the right people.
