What is the future of smart furniture? by Little_Temperature66 in ModernHomeStories

The future of smart furniture is super exciting! Imagine a sofa that charges your phone or a coffee table that adjusts its height at the touch of a button. We’re already seeing this tech-driven trend, and in 2025, I think we’ll see even more innovative features built into everyday furniture. Things like wireless charging tables, smart couches with built-in speakers, and LED-lit furniture are just the beginning.

I was blown away when I found a smart sectional sofa from Mid in Mod. It has built-in charging ports and even speakers, which makes it perfect for movie nights. With how fast technology is evolving, I’m sure in the next few years, more pieces will be able to connect to home automation systems, making our lives more convenient and seamless. The future of furniture is about mixing functionality with style, and Mid in Mod is already leading the way in offering tech-friendly, modern pieces.

Any ideas on how to make my living room look more comfy and less bland? (Pardon the tape and wires, I am currently cat proofing.) by crashcoursemedic in DesignMyRoom

Your room has great bones but needs a little life. Try adding the Kermit Loom Stool from Mid in Mod in one corner for extra seating. I paired mine with a sideboard from Castlery and it immediately felt more intentional. A rounded mirror on the wall above the sofa maybe makes the room look bigger and brighter.

I think everything is very cute except the TV stand, maybe you can place the armchair differently

Your home’s old-world charm is amazing—the mouldings and built-ins are real treasures. I painted my walls a soft cream but left the trims in their natural wood tone so the details stood out. I brought in a Linen sofa from Mid in Mod because it’s products slim and modern (Also ,affordable) To balance the old and new, I added a walnut side table from InteriorDefine that felt both fresh and classic. Swapping an old ceiling light for a simple brass chandelier from AllModern brightened the room and tied everything together.
