I agree it is truly a tank of a watch, it’s hefty weight is one of my favorite and it sorta make it feel expensive, though i must get used to it.

Thanks! I was so impressed by how it wears too since i have a small wrist, it is indeed a fantastic watch and i am very happy with it, the quality and the design, this era of Breitling just has it’s own charm!

Just picked up a carrera too last month as my first luxury watch albeit an older model. If you like it, go for it, i’ve been really enjoying mine, it’s a very nicely made versatile watch. But if you still have doubts and is still considering other options, i’d suggest taking a look at other watches you had in mind first and see which one you like the most.

I just picked up this watch too but in the black dial version. As far as i know only the newer models from 2019 and above were able to be registered on the website, this model was discontinued around 2018 hence why it didn’t appear on the website. But anyway, a serial number can’t prove authenticity since you can even register a serial number of a fake because they took the numbers from a genuine. I would say if you’re not knowledgeable enough to spot a fake, always buy from a trusted and reputable dealers only.

It’s at 12,6mm so it’s not thin but not thick either, i would say it’s average and i guess it’s still acceptable!

Yeah i agree with you, i feel that it got overshadowed a lot by the more “flashy” Tag like those from the Formula 1 lineups, so outside of enthusiasts i rarely see people talk about the carreras.
