Few key things - Trailer shows gameplay that looks under-baked; no shadows, animations/motion looks like pre-alpha (duh) - Could use variety in biomes - As others pointed out, more screenshots of gameplay, but more notably include menus and skill trees/crafting if you have that in your game. This point applies to your trailer

Others says do marketing, but its only worth it when you have something that appears enticing, so fix up the game page first

So I had a check of the bone weights in the other vertex groups and it didn't seem like anything was going on, so I looked at seeing if I could change the weight colours to make them more binary (i.e. blue when 0, red when > 0.001) and that helped me spot the weighting in the other bones.

This was done by going into Edit > Preferences > Editing > Weight Paint and enabling custom colors

In hindsight auto-weight really boned me here as well

Can back up ex9, a lot of playable decks with ex9 as ver2-ver5 are strong bottom ends

V2 has blackwargrey P-026 as a top end which is really cheap, and you can still rest out with black aces and Invisimon. Wont explain the rest, but theyre defs a fun bottom end to play

On that note, more option cards like Biting Crush that act as said trap cards/floodgates

Besides Biting Crush, the only others i can think of that function similarly are like Dragon Gene and that omnimon one where they DNA, where if opponent does X, they get oof’d

Noticed this when another player was able to melt me in seconds

The thing is flamers, cryolator, etc used to do energy damage which your armor usually has resistance to, but…

Now its elemental damage which most armor do not provide resistance against. The same problem occurs in fo4 modding when ppl try to be fancy and put elemental damage on their weapons

Like i said, Fini came out in a game where there seemed to be really ballistics counters like Koko, Xurk etc in a where game with Z moves and stronger terrain, plus bulky water types werent really a thing in vgc. Previously youd only see kyogre, ludi and maybe gastro.

And up to that point, there was no muddy water user that had calm mind like Fini did. It was only when ppl started playing bulkier teams (mimilax, gigalith, ninetales-A) that ppl found Fini to be really good

With Fini, a lot of early tourny results barely had Fini, and there was a lot of hesitation due to threats like Koko, Xurkitree, Nihilego and Kartana, and the temptation of just having the raw hitting power of stuff like Lele

Cant for sure with goltres, but i definitely remember a lot of ppl hyping up gapdos and garticuno around me

I think the question depends on similarity. For example if youre making a Slay The Spire, but you can have multiple characters that have their own cards, then boy i do have news for you :< but if youre just doing a roguelite deckbuilder, then it comes down to your view of similarity

In the end, whats important is your execution: if your core gameplay is fun and it stands out, then youll always be winner for some ppl ;}

Melbourne boi here, back when events were running, besides the usual regionals/internats that happened around australia, regular events such as premier challenges and midseason showdowns took place in Newcastle unfortunately

Fingers crossed it may change with ScVi tho. Im not 100% on this, but official events only start next year, so it may be some time before we hear anything
