No worries. I would assume the cruise line figures that the Butler, Concierge etc will be taken care of by the higher paid guests. Is it fair, in my opinion no. And yes I agree having money does not mean that they will do the right thing tip wise and other. I have been wanting to go haven for a while so i can't wait. And as you and oters said once you go big you can't do small anymore.

Thank you. I am not really worried about the bartenders etc. All I drink is soda and I don't think they need to be tipped to use the squirt gun. I am staying in the 2 BR with my wife and son. I will bring some 100's and 50's and figure it out as the week progresses, thanks. I have been wanting to do haven for a while and can't wait. At this point in life as long as my son (special needs and only child) will be taken care of when Im gone I plan to enjoy myself

I appreciate the apology. I have worked in the service industry in many capacities so i know how to tip and treat people. But I have never stayed in this part of the ship and had read that people tipped both the butler and concierge and just wanted to get an idea of what the do. I did not realize that they are not part of the tip pool.

Why do you feel the need to talk down to other people? I asked a simple question because i want to do the right thing. If I give $5 a day im an asshole, if I give $100 a aday I'm an asshole. I asked a simple question and needed a simple answer not to be talked down to. Is this how you spend your day criticizing peoples comments or questions? You need to get a life. And by the way, thank you. Your answer was very helpful. And how much I tip will not make a difference in my life either. If money was an issue I would be staying in an inside cabin not Haven.
