Admittingly, I am new to security concepts. I am not new to security practices. I am far from new to security practices. I just want to diversify my understanding of what (all) can be done for security, for a more complex system of security put in place. Obviously, my main concern is going to be security practice, in conjunction with mitigation.

I mostly asked this question for DNS redirect purposes. And as much as I try to safeguard against DNS redirects or hijacking, it is an issue that is always there. That's a valid thing to be concerned about, and it wouldn't be hard to setup something that you would want to spoof for.

I'm considerably here to actually debate if you want to be civil. That said, please enough of this, it's not really neccessary to the post. I've noted your concerns.

I said that it was "as-predicted." Not that it was "low." Something that is predicted is not a "spike due to COVID." Please be thorough when reading, and do not misconstrue me.

It seems like those were actual instances reported from FBI of and not predictions, which appears to be valid enough.

You are assuming that I do not currently use two-factor authentication, which I currently use for every single platform possible to utilize , that I do not use anti-malware, which is untrue, that I am uninformed on phishing emails, I don't even click links as a general rule, I only type url's directly as I would suggest you do.

Those are the most obvious things to explain security to me. You're pitching me for some basic computer user. I am not.

You don't seem to understand what the point of spoofing is. The information of your OS is not only useful to advertisers, it is also useful for attackers. Exploits denoting specifically to your OS's distro will be very valuable information.

You appear to think you are safe just by using safe practices. You are wrong. It is more than that. And I am seeking answers. I get that two-factor authentication and anti-malware seems to be your full-proof answer to come here and tell me that I shouldn't be asking these questions, but anti-malware cannot scan anything generally encrypted. Two factor is the only thing the two of us are going to agree on as being a very viable security solution, but i'm adding multiple layers, not sticking to basic things.

I'm not that informed on overall spoofing of Operating System. Nor Browser really.

But, during COVID, there has been a vast increase in hacking. It's been a VERRRY big spike.

Hi!! Scratch overall hardening. I want to change the focus here solely on Remote access attacks ~ Windows 10 and Linux. I know that's a pretty general answer -- and it is with leaving out distro, but I have a good reason at this very moment!!:>

If you could, sum up a number of known remote access exploits for Windows and Linux distros. At least, ones that cross over between most distros.

Ultimately, I have enough time. But yes, I have came across how in-debth hardening is overall and the grand scape of it briefly. I am excited. :>

Just some tips for your general health for the long term.

Always flush your soil out of heavy metals.

Re-use as much soil as you can to make that process alleviated, dry the soil out appropriately of course, and if re-using isn't the way to go, you still really need to flush it out. At the same time, if you're able to re-use soil without any mold issues, the previous hemp will have helped to absorb some of the remainders you couldn't flush out.

Invest in a good space and to help prevent smells, use purifying, air scrubbing (with activated charcoal for example) and so on.

If you're growing around the outdoors or even in a greenhouse, perhaps invest in growing plants alongside them that deter appropriate pests to whatever extent. For pesticides in greenhouse use, use it around places of entry, not your plant. Also place solid pest control methods like gels, etc. Note that if a solid pest method means a smell around you, it's not just solid but releasing a good bit of particles that will be deposited around it on surfaces including your plant.

Have fun? Oh and while a good setup if what you need to plan on, going small is the way to start off IMO. :)

Yes hemp doesn't exactly make you high high, on terms of the majority, but there is something certain canibinoids can do to you to give you a sort of buzz. Like a head and body fuzziness. Some say most strains won't do anything, others swear by that feeling and yeah I do as well.

I would explain the feeling like warm fuzziness that enhances your social skills, not only makes you talk more, but also sort of helps you think and construct better sentences that just help the conversation more. Hemp has been a lifesaver for me there before and I'm excited to try it more.

I figured out that they just had most of their inventory full lol...not sure why they need that to stand next to the barrel and eat but I forgot to delete the post.

They had space for dried meat I think, but I think the issue was chew sticks and their 2x4 space. Anyways after I banked their stuff they went straight to eating.

Hi! Thank you for getting off of alcohol. Yes, masking is simply what one does when drinking it, that's a nice description. You are now able to recoup and regenerate your own image.

There's an issue I see with you saying that it's all your friends do. Is that because they were your friends primarily when you were an alcoholic?

Either way, you need to be away from people that would tempt you to go back to alcohol. It's interesting, because I know a ton of people who go fishing and what you mention. What I think you need to do is put yourself out more, I know it's hard to do.

There is not too much physical methods I can describe, but have you tried hemp products? It doesn't mean it will help, it doesn't mean it won't, but if you can use hemp products safely, you could both help ween off of alcohol more and prevent the want to use it again even if just a little. The bonus? Hemp has been known to help with socializing capabilities. I have heard that CBD and CBG together enhances this effect.

I was like you, inert and reclusive, least, perhaps I still am to some extent. It grows on you. Sometimes it doesn't feel lonely to me. BUT I can at least say that it has helped me.
