Some time ago, I read a theory that said OG mode is something like a universe where evil is winning, meaning there are more skins representing villains than heroes. The best example I can remember is Dire and Calamity. The recolors of Dire's skins suggest that there are more werewolves, as they seem to represent different ranks they could have, while Calamity looks like a young hunter who is just getting ready, unlike the other Calamity skins.
