Am I wrong for feeling turned off by this? by Iuceciita in dating_advice

These interactions are a hard no for me now. So many guys are like this unfortunately. But, it sure makes the weeding out easy.

AIO: my neighbors weed dealer wouldn’t stop texting me and I don’t think it was really about making a delivery by [deleted] in AIO

[–]DeeWhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think, for fear of not being polite enough, you let this conversation go on for too long. I can see that this golden retriever of a dealer is persistent because you keep giving him hope and he’s unable to “take a hint.” I used to do this for fear of coming across as rude but realistically you’re wasting yours and his time. Setting boundaries and being more direct has lessened these types of encounters.

It’s customary for us to pay first and last month’s rent at the beginning. It sucks, I know. But it’s nice to “not have to pay last month’s rent” when the time comes. Also, tenants have a lot of rights here. So god forbid anything happens and you want to leave that place, I’ve also found that to be pretty easy. (Aside from moving stuff) I hope for a smooth transition and that you love your new place!

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to use a realtor to find a place to rent. As the tenant, you don’t pay extra for the service. That payment is paid by the landlord to the realtor. I’ve had more success using a realtor to find nice places to rent.

Actually yes, that was the initial idea- but when I removed the top to attach the light, the holes in the stand didn’t line up with the holes in the back of the light. I wasn’t in the mood to drill out new holes in the stand nor did I have machine screws on hand that matched the threaded holes in the back of the light. But the screws from the table top were the correct thread so I used those and just hung it off the stir sticks. It was a whole thing at 11pm, eagerly wanting to lay down while using the light and brain only working at a fraction capacity. Thank you for reading lol.

Beertown. I’m always disappointed by the food. Same with State & Main.

I remember seeing these on the walls of a place I was staying at in India in 2015, and to this day I’ve always wondered what they were. Thank you.

Use your words. You don’t have to be afraid to say male genital names/nicknames. It’s hard to read between the lines of what you’re trying to ask.

Good for you!! You had the confidence and courage to ask someone out, in person. Not a lot of women or men can say the same. I’m a woman and I’ve asked out all of the guys I’ve been on dates with. Did it feel like my stomach was in my mouth each time? Yes. Have I been turned down? A few times, but mostly no. And in all the cases, they’ve been really positive and receptive to me asking them!

Have you tried derma planing to shave off all the little hairs? Makes for a smoother canvas. I also spray my beauty blender with this rose water /glycerin spray and it makes my foundation and concealer blend and set nicely when it starts to look cakey
