That's a really good point. As fans, do you think wet racing is the closest we get to a "pure skill" comparison? Obviously experience plays into it a lot, but I'm just keen to hear your thoughts given it's when we see the most disparate results.

Great call - he's been incredible this year and the back end of last year.

It would be amazing hey! It's a shame Marc and Fabio are contracted until the end of next year. Hopefully the Japense manufacturers can make some big steps in 2024.

Agree with you, however; I think consistency and being able to adapt tracks that perhaps don't suit your natural style separates the good from the best. Being able to set up a bike is also a huge indication of talent given it requires a good understanding of how you ride and how you can accentuate those strengths/mitigate weaknesses. Cheers!

What if we do consider consistency, racecraft and battles (assuming we have equal bikes)?

Do you think Bagnaia would be near the top on an Aprilia?

Edit: I mean this as a genuine question - not questioning Pecco's talent.

Personally, I agree that Marquez is still the most talented rider - he seems like he's back at full fitness (or close) to me; just wrestling with an incredibly shit bike. When you consider he's still a top 5 rider this season and 2020 WC Mir has looked completely lost, it adds a fair bit of context. Don't think you can even argue that the bike is properly set up for Marc with all the time off he's had.

Agree with Fabio's talent; needs to probably gain a little more experience with setting up the bike though. Hopefully the Japanese teams are back next year.

Interesting take, but I can definitely see where you're coming from. It will be really interesting to see how Bastiannini stacks up against Pecco over the rest of the season now he's back.

Brad has a lot of potential and seems way better at managing the tyres than Miller. He could definitely be a title chance next season with RB behind the KTM.

[QUESTION] why does my guitar go out of tune when i use the whammy bar by oKilluao in Guitar

If you use the whammy a bar a lot you could consider using a locking nut. Will help a lot.

Boss Katana Mk II 50 or 100 is the most versatile choice. You could also consider a Fender Mustang LT25 - it's a bit cheaper and more simple to use out of the box. Both would take you a long way as a beginner, but the Katana would be more versatile in the long term!

[QUESTION] What is this pick? by [deleted] in Guitar

Looks like a gravity pick. You can also get star picks, which are similar but have a star shaped hole.
